We are incredibly proud of our 3rd and 4th-grade students for demonstrating such grit and perseverance this week as they worked through the ELA MCAS assessments. A heartfelt thank you to the families who generously contributed breakfast items, fruit, water, and snacks. Your support helped our students start each day feeling nourished, focused, and ready to do their best.

As we head into next week, we’re excited to shift the energy with our Spring Spirit Week - a fun and uplifting way to bring our school community together once again. Many thanks to our Student Council for organizing this special week for Swallow Union as we head into April break. When we return, it will be full steam ahead as we work together to finish the school year strong!

To our 3rd and 4th-grade families, we have a date change to the upcoming Chorus Concert so it aligns with the upcoming District Fine Arts Festival. 

New Date/Location: Monday, May 18th @ 6:00 pm at the GDRMS Stoddard Building Performing Arts Center, 344 Main Street in Groton. Ms. Hettinger, SU Music Teacher, sent an email out yesterday with this change. Please reach out with any questions!

Sending some shout-outs and good luck to our former Swallow Union Tigers & all of the performers in their weekend performances at our GDRMS in Disney's Descendants! 

Performances are Friday (4/10) at 7 pm and Saturday (4/11) at 2 pm & 7 pm in the PAC (Stoddart Building). Come support your community! Tickets are cash only and will be sold at the door.

Pottery Night - Thursday, April 16, 6pm at SU. We look forward to seeing everyone that registered! (order deadline has passed) We will have some light refreshments at the event (chips, water).

Volunteer Appreciation Day - We absolutely cannot do what we do without the help of our incredible volunteers. For all those who were kind enough to give us even just a small amount of time this year, join us April 17 for a night out at the movie theatre with your family. We truly appreciate you!
