🐯 Ti-GRRR Community Highlights

Our school proudly celebrated Read Across America with one of our favorite traditions, Community Reading Day!

We were thrilled to welcome members of our community into our classrooms to share the joy of reading with our students. From local leaders and first responders to parents and community partners, each guest brought a special story to our day.

Thank you to all of our wonderful guest readers for taking time out of your busy schedules to make today so meaningful. Your presence made a difference, and our students were inspired by you!

We are grateful for such an amazing community!

We were excited to host children’s author Jason Viola as part of our Read Across America celebration! Mr. Viola writes engaging and informative books that get kids excited about reading and learning. His works include titles in the Science Comics graphic novel series, such as Science Comics: Elephants – Living Large, Science Comics: The Digestive System, and Science Comics: Polar Bears — all designed to make science fun and accessible through colorful illustrations and storytelling.

He is also the author of Critter Chat: World Wild Web, a playful book that imagines what it would be like if animals had their own internet chats — blending humor with real animal facts that delight young readers.

During his visit, students had the chance to meet Mr. Viola, hear him read from one of his books, ask questions about writing and creativity, and get their books autographed.

We’re so grateful to have had him with us and thank him for inspiring our students to think big and explore the world through books.

Please visit the LIVE FEED section of our website for photos of these events.

Volunteers Needed - Elementary Science Fair

Volunteers, Judges, & Donations Needed

The Science Fair is coming up and we are in great need of more judges, volunteers, and donations for the refreshment stand!

Judges can be parents, teachers, or community members - it is very structured and rewarding. Volunteers are also needed for many areas. Even if your child is not participating in the fair, this is a great way to see what it's all about. Come volunteer and stay for the Wacky Science Show! Sales from the refreshment stand help cover the cost of the fair, so all donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help!
