Ms. Brianna Mousseau served as our Principal for the Day on Monday, spending the day alongside Mrs. Jarvis. She started her morning by greeting students at the bus and car drop-off and assisting in the breakfast line. Miss Mousseau then took to the loudspeaker to make a special announcement: as Principal, she was giving students the choice between an extra recess or a special frozen treat during lunches before winter break.

She visited classrooms throughout the morning to collect votes, and the results were nearly unanimous~ students overwhelmingly chose the frozen treat! 

From there, Principal Mousseau helped set up and cheered on participants in the Turkey Trot, supporting runners throughout the event before wrapping up her busy day as Principal.

Our 4th Annual Turkey Trot was a wonderful celebration of school spirit, wellness, and community! Students kicked off the morning in the gym with an energetic Turkey GoNoodle session led by our Student Council, filling the space with laughter, movement, and excitement. From there, everyone headed out to the field to trot, cheer, and support one another. The joy and enthusiasm from our students were contagious, and our mascot, Tiger, added even more fun to the day.

Not only was it a festive event, but it also gave students a great opportunity to stay active and enjoy the benefits of healthy exercise. Every student received a ribbon to celebrate their participation, effort, and commitment to fitness.

GD Youth Baseball: Winter Clinic Registration is Open!

Our Winter Clinics are coming to Lawrence Academy's Stone Athletic Center! The Winter Skills Clinic is a six-week indoor training program designed to help players stay active in the off-season and sharpen their fundamental baseball skills. 

Two 6-week sessions:

Session 1: Jan 11 - Feb 15

Session 2: Feb 22 - Mar 29

Every Sunday:

Rookies (4-5pm)

Minors (5-6pm)

Majors/Babe Ruth (6-7pm)

$50 per player for a 6-week session.

Whether you're picking up a bat for the first time or looking to take your game to the next level, our clinics offer instruction that will keep your players active in the off-season.
