I’m excited to introduce Marian Dyer as our Assistant Superintendent beginning July 1st!  We are very fortunate to have her joining our community and Marian is looking forward to meeting more of you soon. A special thank you to the many staff and community members who had the chance to meet Marian when she toured our schools and joined us for afternoon staff forums as a finalist on May 15th. She brings with her a wealth of educational leadership experience including as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for Billerica Public Schools, STEM and Humanities Coordinator at Billerica High School, and as a 6-12 Social Studies Department Chair and teacher in Littleton. Our search committee unanimously chose Marian as a finalist, and we are so excited she accepted our offer to join the team in Groton-Dunstable. While she will be wrapping up her work responsibilities in Billerica next month, Marian is looking forward to connecting with staff and spending a couple of days with us in June, prior to starting officially on July 1. She is so excited to join our team!

Groton Dunstable graduating class of 2025 will be taking a walk down memory lane to where it all began for some of them as they participate in the 1st annual Senior Walk on Tuesday, May 27th from approximately 9:00am until 12:30pm. Seniors will board three school buses at the Groton Dunstable Regional High School in their caps and gowns and visit all of the five schools in our district where they will be welcomed by younger students who will be standing in the hallways cheering them on as they walk through the schools.

Parents, guardians, friends and neighbors are encouraged to gather back at the High School around 12:00pm to welcome the seniors on the buses for their last trip on a school bus down to the High School. Please park in the upper parking lots and on the left side of the road up on the grass and then stand along the road leading down to the High School (near upper fields) to welcome the buses back to the High School. Parents and community members are welcome to bring signs and noise makers to cheer on the seniors.

• Middle School North Building (7/8th grade): 11:03am-11:35pm

• Boutwell: 11:45am-12:00pm

• Arrive back at High School 12:00-12:15pm
