Maggie's Moments

Dear Families,

This week is all about the PTA! This year, our PTA is led by two parents, Kelly McMullen and Nicolle Whelan. We would love for you to join our PTA. Our PTA plays a crucial role in helping us to organize activities for families as well as in school events.

This year, we are looking for room parents. Room Parents play an important role in helping create a positive connection between families, teachers, and the PTA.

● Serve as a liaison between the classroom teacher, families, and the PTA.

● Help communicate important information from the teacher or PTA to classroom families.

● Encourage family involvement in classroom and school activities.

● Assist with coordinating volunteers when needed for classroom celebrations, special events, or activities.

● Help organize teacher appreciation efforts, such as collecting contributions for gifts or coordinating special surprises.

● Support PTA events and initiatives by sharing information and encouraging participation.

● Help foster a sense of community within the classroom.

Interested in helping? See the flyer for more details!
